Dissapointing night for Geno

Geno smith did not getr picked in the first round in yesterdays NFL Draft. Sad scene to watch him wait and wait and wait for his name to be called, then have it not called at all that round. Wonder if that would hurt his confidence a bit by not beeing good enough for teams to want to take him in the first round. Hope not because he's still a terrific quarterback and he's going to make a lot of people choke on their words when his career gets up and going.

  1. It probably is an ego bruiser right now, but he should be able to bounce back from it. When Aaron Rodgers was chosen later than expected, he used that hurt to fuel his own fire and prove them wrong by becoming the best QB in the league. I see Geno Smith doing the same thing.

  2. I hope he does well and just shows the teams that didn't believe in him. He was a good QB in college I'm excited to see how he does in the pros.

  3. I am sure that his ego was hurt by not being picked in the first round. I found it crazy that the Jets picked him with their already public QB disscussion. I believe that them releasing Tebow shows that they may be making way for Smith to be their guy. I hope he does good in the league becuse he had such high hopes. Also because I want him to show the people who passed on him just what they missed.

  4. I think he is a very gifted quarterback but analyst are saying he didn't get drafted first round because he isn't a student of the game and his work ethic isn't how it should be but I thought he was going first round because he was being talked up so much.
